Adventure On the High Seas

This morning the boys headed out again bright and early for golf.  Mom and I slept in, then went for a nice breakfast downstairs at Kesh.  We went for a good walk along the promenade so she could check out the beach, then snooped in a few stores in Broadbeach.  We got some fun jewelry and I picked up a cheap "winter" jacket at Target for $40 for our trip this week.

This afternoon we took a Wyndam Cruise down the Nerang River.  It was a perfect day- clear and sunny with a little wind.  We sat on the top and enjoyed some champagne.  It was a two hour cruise and took us along the waterways to some beautiful, multimillion dollar homes, then up to "the spit" and South Stradbroke Island.  It was cool to get a different view of the city and get a peek into some of the fancy houses!

After the cruise we headed up to the Q1 Tower.  Again, still one of my favorite places here.  It was nice to go up on a clearer day.  Again, we caught the sunset.

This evening we had Ashley over for dinner and Joel BBQ'd some delicious steaks.  Ashley gave us a bunch of things to see and do in Melbourne, as she lived there for awhile when she first moved to Oz.
