Happy Canada Day!
It was a beautiful winter day here on the Gold Coast. Ashley and I went down to Kesh for breakfast, then for a walk on the beach where we decided to share our Canadian pride.
We walked into Surfers to check out The Avenue, a pub that was hosting a Canada Day party. There were a few other Canadians there dressed in red and white, so we drew on some maple leafs with lipstick to fit in better. Poutine and ceasers were being served, while Bryan Adams played on the speakers (is that who we're most known for?) Sadly no mullet sporting hosers.
Not much else new here. Just counting down the days till the arrival of our visitors! I've got the itinerary set for our road trip in the south and am already starting to get OCD on what to pack (typical).
